cl_audit relies on how Claude Code saves its login and on Anthropic's usage figures, which aren't public interfaces. A newer Claude version can change them; if something stops working, update cl_audit.

Or build it from source

Review the source, then build on the Mac:

git clone https://github.com/n-uf/cl_audit.git
cd cl_audit
git checkout v26.10.1 # optional: exactly this release
./build.sh

build.sh compiles cl_audit, installs it in /Applications and updates the Dock icon apps: one “cl_audit <profile>” app per profile, next to it, where Spotlight finds them. ./build.sh --no-installonly builds into the folder. Built on your own Mac, it opens without the Privacy & Security step.

Add a profile

Open cl_audit, then Settings ▸ New profileA page opens in the same window: the profile and its Claude window, its Claude Code folder, and a summary with the live icon and the steps to do.
Choose its Claude Code folderA new one (~/.claude-<name>, optionally sharing instructions, agents, skills, commands or memory from another folder) or an existing one, such as ~/.claude.
Choose its Claude windowThe standard one (only while no other profile uses it), a separate one with its own sign-in and data folder, or none, for Claude Code in Terminal only.
Quit the Claude app until the folder is set upWhile it is open it writes its own sign-in and settings. The page lists its windows and checks every 2 seconds. Claude Code in Terminal doesn't get in the way.
Sign in, in two partsClaude Code first (Terminal runs claude auth login for the folder), then, with a separate window, that window, signed in to the same claude.ai account. “Finish now” leaves sign-in for later.
Put its Dock icon in the Dockcl_audit installs the profile's Dock icon and starts it. Drag it into the Dock, or let Settings ▸ General ▸ Dock pin it for you (experimental: it rewrites the Dock's pin list and restarts the Dock).

Update, remove, uninstall

UpdateDownload the new zip and replace cl_audit in Applications (what's new), or run git pull && ./build.sh in the cl_audit folder. The Dock icon apps follow, and profiles and settings are kept.
Remove a profileSettings ▸ the profile ▸ Remove profile… removes its Dock icon app and what macOS keeps for it, plus its saved usage. “Delete its folders too” also signs its Claude Code folder out and deletes it and its Claude window's data folder; the default ~/.claude and the standard window are never deleted.
UninstallRemove every profile, then delete cl_audit from /Applications and the folder ~/Library/Application Support/usage-n-uf, where profiles are saved.
